We are so excited to open our Summer Camps again this year!

This camp is designed with the pre-teen and young teen home baker in mind; camp attendees should be ages 10-14, with a notable interest in baking.

CAMP DATES AVAILABLE:
JUNE 11-14 | JUNE 18 – 21 | JULY 23 -26

Your young baker will love this extremely hands-on camp, where we cover everything from breakfast bakes to upscale desserts, and so much more! As this is an active camp, attendees will be on their feet and participating in various kitchen and baking tasks. Each day attendees will head home with their bakes from that day’s camp!! Additionally we will spend time discussing the food science behind what makes baking possible.

Camp will run Tuesday-Friday 9am – 12pm. We will have a snack break each day – attendees need to bring a non-refrigerated snack and drink from home, as one will not be provided.

To reserve your spot, there are two steps:

STEP ONE is to visit our event site and choose which Summer Camp week you’d like to attend. It is important to note that a $50 enrollment deposit is all that is due initially. The remaining balance of $295 will be billed and due 10 days prior to camp starting. Altogether, the 2024 Summer Camp fee is $345 per child.

STEP TWO can be completed once you’ve made your enrollment deposit. At that point, you will be able to complete the form below to finish registering your baker! We will reach out closer to summer camp to discuss details and finalize the remaining balance of $295.

Please note, only those who have both paid the non-refundable $50 enrollment deposit and completed the registration form will be considered signed up!

Reservation fees are non-refundable so please check your summer calendar before registering! Please note, we cannot refund your registration due to scheduling conflicts, or other unforeseen events.

šŸ§ Letā€™s make Summer Camp a success! Some key points to noteā€¦

  • This camp is designed for pre teens and teens aged 10-14. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to reach out!
  • Please send your child with an apron each day, as some of the baking we will be doing can get quite messy!
  • Hair needs to be properly restrained, as we will be working with food!
  • Ensure your child wears non-slip, closed-toe shoes each day.
  • The kitchen can get warm – we recommend comfortable clothing for summertime.
  • Please send your child with a labeled water bottle and non-refrigerated snack each day, as we will be taking a snack break daily.
  • Class begins at 9am, and will end no later than 12pm daily ā€“ please arrive promptly for drop-off and pickup. We arenā€™t able to take drop-offs earlier than 8:50am, and we are unable to attend to children past 12. A parent must be present for pickup.

Haute Cakes is a commercial kitchen, and therefore it may present the standard dangers as any kitchen may. Please keep the following in mind and discuss as needed with your children.

All goods are processed on the same equipment and may contain dairy, nuts, eggs, gluten, coconut, etc. Haute Cakes Pastry Shop (HCPS)  is not an allergy-free kitchen and we urge those with food allergies to exercise caution. HCPS may not be held liable for any health complications or allergic reactions from goods or equipment.

While we take safety very seriously and make all efforts to create a safe environment for our summer camp attendees, HCPS may not be held liable for any damage, injury, or health complications from use of kitchen equipment/presence at the bakery during summer camp.
